MEDITATION GARDEN

The Meditation Garden was given “In honor of our loving parents Faust and Jasmine Capobianco by Nicole and Faust IV”. The Holy Family sculpture will stand “In memory of the Rev. Jerome Pavlik, OFM and his loving sister, Sally”.

Fr. Jeffrey Scheeler, Vice Provincial St. John the Baptist, Cincinnati,
OH, preaches about gardens in the scriptures and in the life of St. Francis of Assisi, as a sign of nature's gift from God. |
Faust E. Capobianco IV and Nicole Capobianco Scott dedicate the
garden to their parents. “No one can ever thank their parents well enough for all they give to their children, but this garden will be an honored place of prayer and peace for all they have given”. |

 Retreatants, Benefactors, Volunteers and Friends of St. Francis Retreat House gather to listen and pray as speakers and leaders dedicate The Meditation Garden. The garden was designed and executed by Joanne Kostecky of Garden Design, Allentown, PA. |

The Holy Family sculpture, by popular sculptor Timothy J. Schmalz, with its unusual and affectionate depiction of Jesus with Mary and Joseph, is in memory of Fr. Jerome Pavlik and family. |
 Fr. Jerome Pavlik, who was instrumental in the founding and construction of St. Francis Retreat House in 1961, served 21 years as director. His sister Sally supported Fr. Jerome for 21 years, conducting fund raising for the center in his behalf. Fr. Jerome died February 2007. |
